The chutney looks chunky and glossy and has a great spicy aroma. The chunks of mango and fig add a nice sweetness and there is a light kick from the chillies. The addition of pumpkin seeds is a surprise and adds a welcome bite to the chutney. The sweetness and sourness are in good balance and the spices are not overpowering. This chutney has a lovely texture with the seeds visible. It has a really appetising aroma with the cumin coming through and only a gentle level of acidity. On tasting judges like the texture with the fruit, heady spicing but only a tickle of chilli and a great level of acidity and sweetness. We think it is complex and beautifully judged. It would work well with so many savoury foods from cheese to sausage rolls. Super chutney, well done.

Great taste as usual but price has been hiked by nearly £1 and the jar reduced from 320g to just 200g. Now terrible value for money. Disappointing.
